GoinGDutch, cycling to become the smart choice for Schiphol workers

The goinGDutch programme aims to have as many as 10,000 employees cycling to Schiphol by the end of 2024. After all, cycling makes a positive contribution to the vitality of airport employees, and sustainability, liveability and mobility at and around Schiphol.

To help cyclists further on their way, Claessens Erdmann has developed a service concept (innovative and sustainable!) together with Schiphol and the "Vervoerregio Amsterdam" (Amsterdam Transport Authority), which offers various facilities. Besides the bus station at Schiphol North (also previously developed by Claessens Erdmann), a multifunctional bicycle service point will be realised. Among other things, this service station offers a space with flexi-workstations, a dry cleaner for work clothes, and a place to have minor bicycle repairs done with apprenticeships for mechanics.
