Work in progress: The building of 5* hotel Amstel 111

At our construction site on the Amstel, right next to the Carré theater, which is currently bustling with activity, the foundations for the first floor have been laid with the utmost care and respect for the monumental character of the building. The basements have now been excavated and the first layer of concrete has been poured in the underground spaces.

Several crucial steps have been taken recently:

• Pouring the structural floor of the lowest floor.

• Reinforcing the basement walls of the -2 floor.

• Installing the sewer system for the entire hotel.

We are currently working on the interior design of the hotel, collaborating with renowned design studios: New York-based designers Roman and Williams, Studio Ilse from London, and Nicemakers from Amsterdam.

The combination of the historic location, the careful construction methods, and leading-edge design promises a special project in the heart of Amsterdam.
