First sportainmentpark in NL open; "Sparkx Utrecht"

October 2026

The park has found a home in the former Beursfabriek in Nieuwegein and is the first Sportainment Park in the Netherlands.

Following locations in Hasselt, Ghent, and Antwerp, we have now adapted the Sparkx concept for the Netherlands. At 7,500 m², this is our largest location to date.

The basic concept remained the same. It had to be a place where a grandfather with his grandchild, a die-hard athlete, and an enthusiastic newcomer could all feel at home. Once again, we handled the entire design process for this location: first the layout, then the 3D design of all 44 (!) attractions, as well as the restaurant and the graphic design.

This way, the park becomes a single, cohesive whole, recognizable as the newest addition to the Sparkx brand family.

Over the past few months, we’ve watched designs, visuals, and drawings transform into a building bursting with energy and movement. Last weekend, visitors were welcomed inside.
