With a whole array of awards, including ‘International Grower of the Year’, Ter Laak Orchids can count itself to the best of the best in the world.
Over 8 hectares of orchids and research & development makes Ter Laak rather special. Their story is innovative, sustainable and one of quality. The time had come for Ter Laak to tell it to the world. The idea of an inspiration center was born. For the past year-and-a-half we have been working on precisely that. For the exterior, we were inspired by the very distinct greenhouse typology. We added wooden construction to set it apart from the surrounding greenhouses and emphasize its different purpose. The interior still needs to be built but will be finished in the next couple of months. It’s an eclectic mix of real materials, telling a story throughout the center. We are very proud to be part of this project.
