EndLESS Amsterdam

Now on show in Arcam: EndLESS Amsterdam, the circular city in the making, an exhibition that shows that Amsterdam is becoming a circular city.

Amsterdam has committed itself to achieving a fully circular economy by 2050. What does this transition mean? And how do we see this reflected in the built environment?

EndLESS Amsterdam tells the story of the compact, circular city through the eyes of the animal, the resident, the government, and the enterprise. Through many players in the city, you get a good impression of the efforts made by these stakeholders.

Based on the circular ambitions of our clients Royal Schiphol Group and Port of Amsterdam, two of our projects are highlighted. We designed a second life for a Hangar from the Second World War that now serves as a bus station junction at Schiphol North. For the Amsterdam Port Authority we developed the Prodock concept, an innovation hub for circular start-ups in an existing building.

The exhibition will be hosted in Arcam, the Architecture Centre of Amsterdam, and can be visited until 28 February 2021. Would you like more information about EndLESS? Then visit arcam.nl.
