Create the first fully organic fast-food concept in The Netherlands.
Result

The first Barn was “EKO Gold” certified, which means that all products and all ingredients are 100% organic. No other restaurant in The Netherlands had this certification at that time, so it’s quite an honor.



Charming fast-food player
On strategic level we sharpened the concept including translations towards assortment and operational layout. With the idea of a traditional American barn in mind of the owner we visually transferred that idea to the physical surroundings. An interior design with no-nonsense and outright references to a Barn. Concrete walls, a wooden hood construction, a brick floor and basic details make the Barn a very cool and rough, but also a charming fast-food player.
We further developed The Barn as a roll out format with clear design principles for lay out, routing and interior design. This allows The Barn to be created everywhere and in every situation that always feels the same.
