Brooks Running EMEA Headquarters call ‘home’ to one of the most iconic buildings of The Netherlands’ sport history: the Olympic Stadium. An architecture jewel which hosted the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, described as one of the finest examples of the local architectural style ‘Amsterdamse School’ and listed as a national monument.

Assignment
Establishing the link between the company’s core business and the major feature of it’s iconic place.
The assignment was not only to renovate, but also to expand the existing office, adding the vacant office space next door to its premises. The goal was to optimise the spaces’ functionality and the employees’ well-being, while lending a dynamic joyous look to the whole, inspired by the company’s ethos and brand identity, full of funny doodles, witty quotes and bright colours.

Flexibility and Zones
The hub's three zones work together. The first zone transforms from presentation kitchen to chef's table, where fruit tells its story through taste and aroma. Zone 2 has movable bleachers that configure the space as desired (from intimate workshop to large auditorium). And the final Zone provides the crucial break times where informal conversations often yield the valuable insights.
Stories in motion
The traffic areas are designed in line with Fruitmasters' story. Interactive zones where visitors can experience Fruitmasters' DNA before entering the assembly hall. These transit areas function as soft introductions, where the conversation begins before the actual guided visit starts.
Multifunctional +
This space positions Fruitmasters as the central hub of the Dutch fruit chain. A place "Where the best things grow."
